SkillStorm is seeking a UI Developer for our client in New York City, New York. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• The Mercury Analytics platform provides a wide range of analytics tool which can leverage market data to perform complex trade analysis and charting. Scope of responsibilities includes:
• Build and maintain real time web based Market Monitor, Analytical Tools and Time series charting application.
• Extend the market monitors and Tools to add more Capital Markets product capabilities.
• Extend the historical dataset for new products and compute derived market data using proprietary analytics library - GDA.
• Validate excel implementation with business and seek approval prior to production rollouts.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, or related.

Experience:

• 10+ years in UI development required
• Angular, JavaScript, Typescript experience is a must
• Additional experience with the following technologies preferred: Java, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• Understanding of Capital Markets products preferred
• Experience with build tools: Webpack, Maven preferred
• Expertise in Liferay/portal technologies (Portlets, Layouts, Themes) preferred
• Experience with any messaging: MQ, TIBCO, JMS preferred
• Database experience using SQL and Oracle is a must
• Experience working with software delivery tools (GIT / GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible).
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Stash/BitBucket, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible) and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with Liferay Portal
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
