Application Architect V (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Mainframe Developer for our client in New York City, New York. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have the following education, work experience, and abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field/discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience in mainframe environment, preferably in a bank/brokerage setting
  • Prime Brokerage experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Technical Skills:

• Skilled in software/systems architecture
• Expert in developing Cobol code using modern tools such as IDz
• Experience with DB2/MQM
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality
• Established ability to integrate technology, process, test and business practices
