Ansible Automation / DevOps Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Ansible Automation / DevOps Engineer for our client in Pennington, NJ OR Charlotte, NC OR Richardson, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Work as an Ansible automation / DevOps engineer in the CSW Linux Infrastructure Integration team, with the following responsibilities:
  • Create, automate, package, document, and test the automated Linux Continuous Deployment (CD) process
  • Automate Infrastructure products, and work with the project teams to ensure the solution meets the business needs.
  • Provide 3rd level support during weekend and off hours for production environment issues, release support, incident troubleshooting, analysis and resolution beyond 1st, 2nd level Ansible Template Engineering / DEVOPS support
  • Deliver Zero touch server build automation through Ansible roles and playbooks for CSW Device Role Blueprints
  • Work with enterprise Linux Platform Engineering and other infrastructure product teams to onboard and test Linux Infrastructure products needed for CSW on lab servers running RHEL 7 and 8, before making it available for CSW releases
  • Support infrastructure product SDLC through CSW releases

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Ansible automation and DEVOPS Engineering experience
  • 10+ years of Linux Engineering / Administration / Scripting (Bash, Python) / Automation& Packaging experience
  • Strong Knowledge of GIT (and repo) source control and Artifactory
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation and CI/CD toolchain
  • 2+ years experience using CI/CD pipeline to deliver infrastructure as code
  • Experience with documenting/designing/implementing Linux infrastructure components and Linux based solutions
  • Experience with Linux middleware products like webSphere, webLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, etc..
  • Experience with product release cycle and release management
  • Extensive enterprise level experience
  • Experience with Linux software deployment tools (such as Puppet)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and enterprise experience
