Angular Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Angular Developer  for our client in Addison, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• 10 + years. Develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions. A senior member of the technical team responsible for assisting senior business leaders and management. May provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Leads or has responsibility for estimation of effort for software application for one or more programmers. Coordinates collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget. Provides feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers

Position Summary Primary duties include:

• code development, design, debugging, defect fixes, unit testing, integration testing, release support, mentoring junior resources. Will work closely with the scrum master, system analyst and product owner to deliver plus maintain high quality and working software. Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements.

Required skills include but not limited to:

• 5+ years of experience Software Engineering / Object Oriented Design Practices in a Web Environment; 2+ years of Angular + Typescript (and JavaScript); 2+ years of Experience building and consuming RESTful WebServices

Desired skills include but not limited to:

•  Experience with performance optimization, debugging; Core Java development experience; Experience building Modular UI applications.
