Agile Coach (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Agile Coach for our client in Jersey City, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

  • The Agile Coach and People & Culture role is a currently existing position in the group, and requires backfilling based on an internal mobility out.

The responsibilities of Agile Coach and People & Culture includes the following:

  • Act as the DFXR Agile advocate by providing guidelines to the various teams and serve as a liaison between DFXR and GMOT Central Agile/PMO team in this capacity.
  • Lead working groups to promote Agile guidelines and principles and to ensure best practices are understood and adhered to.
  • Lead MRA2 process for DFXR: perform 4-eye check; tracking and reporting trends, issues and failures; provide guidelines to teams; and issues escalation. Supporting MRA2 process which is an extremely important process due to its regulatory nature.
  • Represent DFXR in GMOT BAU taskforce.
  • Serve as Scrum Coach for all DFXR teams and identify training needs.
  • Ensure JIRA training is adequate and be the Point of Contact for any additional training.
  • Lead ESAT analysis and follow-up with action plans. Lead a working group in this capacity.
  • Gather data, consolidate, format and communicate DFXR Newsletter on a quarterly basis.
  • Perform GTOU tracking and reporting for DFXR teams.
  • Assist in the creation and consolidation of materials for Townhall presentations once/quarter. Tracking, maintenance and reporting of Awards.
  • Maintain Vendor Scorecard.
  • Overall representation of DFXR in GMOT PMO/BAU/SDM/Agile routines is paramount.
  • We require to have a point of contact to liaise on DFXR behalf in order to ensure the teams are complying with enterprise guidelines and have the right amount of training.
  • The need to continue with the People & Culture aspect is integral to the morale of the team. This include managing & analyzing ESAT results.
  • Career Paths for team Scrum Masters will be managed in silo's, with lack of best practices and career roadmap within the group, and less opportunity for maximizing resource utilization, cross training and internal mobility.
  • Harder to build expertise around Agile/JIRA standards and SDM processes

  • Knowledge of Global Markets - Knowledge of processes, products and tradeflows within markets and banking; Product knowledge on Derivatives, FX and Quartz a plus.

  • Experience in regulatory environment, managing risk and adherence to compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery.
  • Proven technology management discipline (financials, resource planning, ops risk/security)
